In order to evaluate the slimming effect of a product, a centimetric measurement is carried out at a standardised height. This consists in measuring the circumference of the waist and thighs.

For reproducibility of results, the waist circumference is measured at the level of the belly button, which serves as a reference point for the measurement. For the measurement of the thigh circumference, a centimetric measurement is taken from the ground to the reference point.

The measurement is usually carried out at D0 (before application of the product), then 14 and 28 days after application of the product.
