CUTANEOUS PERFUSION MEASUREMENT

The LDPI technique allows the non-invasive visualization of the perfusion (concentration of moving blood cells x velocity of these blood cells) of superficial tissues as well as the variations of this blood perfusion (micro-circulatory activity). Based on the principle of the Doppler effect, it allows the assessment of possible effects of substances applied on the skin. The perfusion on the scanned skin area is presented with its raw numerical values as well as with colour coding.
