High resolution imaging

SIAscopy is a non-invasive skin imaging technology. Based on Spectrophotometric Intracutaneous Analysis, this technology generates high-resolution images of certain skin components in the range of 50 to 100 µm.

 

Analyzed parameters

This method allows specifically quantifying, the TOTAL concentration of melanin present in the epidermis.

Why SIAscopy?

We use this technique to evaluate the effects of your products on skin pigmentation.

Data

The data is provided in digital forms called SIAgraphs. They visualise the components of a skin region  of 11 mm in diameter and up to 2 mm in depth. Two SIAgraphs are used and analysed by our team:

SIAgraph 1:Colour image
Dermoscopy.

 

SIAgraph 2: Total melanin
The greyer the area, the more pigment it contains.

 

This technique is available in our centres in France and in China.
