cosderma.com is committed to protecting your personal information and your privacy, in compliance with the applicable provisions and in particular with the European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (known as the “RGPD”) and the amended law n’78-17 of 6 January 1978, known as the “Loi Informatique et Libertés”.

This Privacy Policy defines and informs you of the manner in which the cosderma.com website uses and protects the information you provide to us, as well as your rights.

Please note that this Privacy Policy may be modified or supplemented at any time by Cosderma laboratory, in particular in order to comply with any legislative, regulatory, case law or technological developments. In such a case, the date of the update shall be clearly identified at the top of this policy.

These modifications are binding on the User as soon as they are put online. It is therefore advisable for the User to regularly consult this confidentiality and cookie use policy in order to take note of any changes.

I. DEFINITIONS

Personal data” or “Personal information”: Any information relating to a natural person who is identified or can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reference to an identification number or to one or more factors specific to that person.

Data controller” means the entity which collects and processes personal data.

Processing of data” means any operation or set of operations which relates to such data, whatever the process used, and in particular collection, recording, organisation, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making

II. PERSONAL DATA

Overall, you may visit the Cosderma laboratory Site without communicating any personal information about yourself. In any case, you are under no obligation to transmit this information to the Cosderma laboratory.
Nevertheless, if you refuse, you may not be able to benefit from certain information or services that you have requested. In this respect, the Cosderma laboratory may, in certain cases, ask you to provide your surname, first name, e-mail address, telephone number, company and position (hereinafter referred to as your “Personal Information”). By providing this information, you explicitly accept that it is processed by the LABORATOIRE COSDERMA, for the purposes indicated in point II. “purposes of the treatment” below as well as with the ends recalled at the end of each form.

A. DATA PROTECTION OFFICER

Article 37 of the GDPR requires the appointment of a Data Protection Officer (“DPO”) in 3 specific cases:

  1. where the processing is carried out by a public authority or public body
  2. where the core activities of the controller or processor consist of processing operations which require regular and systematic large-scale monitoring of data subjects, or
  3. where the basic activities of the controller or processor consist of large-scale processing of special categories of data or personal data relating to criminal convictions and offences.

According to Article 9, the information we collect is considered as special category data. However, the processing of data as a processor is not considered on a large scale. Therefore, no DPO has been appointed. You may of course contact the Laboratory Director at any time for further information.

B. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING

LABORATOIRE COSDERMA may process your Personal Information:
(a) for the purpose of offering you Biomedical research;

(b) to send you text messages for the confirmation of your appointments or filling of remote questionnaires;

(c) for the purpose of collecting information that will enable us to improve our site and services (in particular by means of cookies); and/or

(d) for the purpose of contacting you about various events relating to the Cosderma laboratory, including customer support.

C. RECIPIENTS

Cosderma laboratory is the sole recipient of your Personal Information. This information, whether in individual or aggregated form, is never transmitted to a third party, notwithstanding the subcontractors used by Cosderma laboratory (you will find more information about them in point 7 below). Neither the Cosderma laboratory nor any of its subcontractors market the personal data of visitors and Users of its site.

D. RETENTION TIME

Your Personal Information is kept by the Cosderma laboratory for the time corresponding to the purpose of the collection as indicated in B. above.

E. DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS

You have the following rights concerning your personal information. Provided that you can prove your identity, you can exercise your rights by writing to us at the following postal address: 42-44 cours Maréchal juin 33000 Bordeaux:

  • the right to access your data (Article 15 GDPR);
  • the right to rectify (article 16 RGPD), update, complete your data as well as the right to block or
  • erase your personal data (article 17 RGPD), when they are inaccurate, incomplete, ambiguous, outdated, or whose collection, use, communication or conservation is prohibited;
  • the right to withdraw consent at any time (Article 13-2 c. GDPR);
  • the right to limit the processing of your data (Article 18 GDPR);
  • the right to the portability of the data you have provided, where such data is subject to automated processing based on consent or on a contract (Article 20 RGPD);
  • the right to object on legitimate grounds to the processing of your data, or simply to commercial prospecting (Article 21 GDPR).

The personal information concerned is the data collected during registration in the laboratory.

The laboratory informs you that the exercise of your right to object or limitation will make it impossible for you to participate in future studies.

In case of participation in a study, the exercise of your right to be forgotten will be limited. For imperative health reasons, your personal information (in particular your contact details) must be kept for ten years in order to contact you in the event of side effects at the end of a study in which you have participated.

F. RESPONSE TIME

The Cosderma laboratory undertakes to respond to your request for access, rectification or opposition or any other additional request for information within a reasonable period of time, which may not exceed one month from receipt of your request.

G. AUTHORISED SERVICE PROVIDERS AND TRANSFER TO A THIRD COUNTRY IN THE EUROPEAN UNION

The Cosderma laboratory informs you that it has recourse to its authorised service providers to facilitate the collection and processing of the data that you have communicated to us. These service providers may be located outside the European Union.
Laboratoire Cosderma has previously ensured that its service providers provide adequate guarantees and comply with strict conditions regarding confidentiality, use and data protection. In particular, vigilance has been exercised with regard to the existence of a legal basis for any transfer of data to a third country.

H. COMPLAINT TO THE RELEVANT AUTHORITY

If you consider that the Cosderma laboratory is not complying with its obligations with regard to your Personal Information, you may submit a complaint or a request to the competent authority. III. COOKIE POLICY

2. Cookies requiring your prior consent

This requirement concerns cookies issued by third parties and which are qualified as “persistent” in that they remain on your terminal until they are deleted or expire.
As such cookies are issued by third parties, their use and storage are subject to their own privacy policies, a link to which is provided below. This family of cookies includes audience measurement cookies (in particular PIWIK), advertising cookies (to which the Cosderma laboratory does not have recourse) and social network sharing cookies (in particular from Facebook and YouTube).
Audience measurement cookies establish statistics on the number of visitors and the use of various elements of the website (such as the content/pages you have visited). This data helps to improve the ergonomics of the Cosderma laboratory website. An audience measurement tool is used on this website :

_ga, _gat, _gid (cookies google analytics) : They allow us to establish statistics on the number of visitors to the site. These cookies are kept for 13 months.

ii. Social network sharing cookies

These cookies are issued and managed by the publisher of the social network concerned. Subject to your consent, these cookies allow you to easily share some of the content published on the Cosderma laboratory website, in particular by means of a sharing application “button” depending on the social network concerned. Four types of social network sharing cookies are present on the Cosderma laboratory website.

_atuvc (AddThis) : This cookie is set and read by the AddThis social sharing site to view the number of “shares”. This cookie is kept for 13 months.
